Want Raw Milk at Trader Joe's?
A general manager of Trader Joe's in California said that if enough people demanded it, they would carry Organic Pastures raw milk in their stores. So please call, fax, write, or email your local Trader Joe's and tell them you would like them to carry Organic Pastures and Claravale raw milk. Hold your horses!
I just called the TJ corporate customer service number and they *are NOT* considering stocking Organic Pastures milk, quite the contrary. That is the same message I received to my own inquiry about it two years ago. I was told they are ignoring the requests for raw milk because it isn't going to happen.
They *are* paying attention to customer demand for grass fed & raw milk aged cheese, though.
Just thought you might want to know. If you wish to check up on this for yourself (which I would encourage you to do), the number for Customer Relations is 626-599-3817.

instead of getting the national chain store to carry the raw milk you want to buy, why not purchase it at your local market?

As I was growing up in a farming area, it was my job to get the milk from te farmer down the road. It was raw milk fresh from the cow, just cooled.
The milk was so delicous I had it half consumed before I reached home.
As a result of drinking so much raw milk I never had any childhood diseases!

screw TJ's. Whole Foods will continue to get my business for the foreseeable future. How much business are they losing by not carrying the product which brings me to WholeFoods? About (4 gal. per week) $3,700 a year. For me, WF is even a farther drive. I don't even visit TJ's now. :(

So you're going to blow your whole paycheck at whole foods, overpaying for organic products, because you're upset that TJ's won't carry one product? Have you ever seen a Trader Joe's? They kinda do the whole "small store" thing, and simply don't have the room to carry every last conceivable product. Seems to me like you're cutting off your nose to spite your face!
