Sale Alert: 33% off Le Creuset in Palo Alto

I was visiting my uncle at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto yesterday and went to Andronicos to get some lunch.

I discovered a 33% off sale on their remaining stock of Le Creuset. Le Creuset enameled cast iron is some of the most highly functioning, safe, non-leaching cookware available. However, it's high-ticket stuff.

Andronicos had 2.75 qt. oval french ovens and 5.75 qt. round french ovens as well as stoneware.

Below are the sizes and types that I saw at Andronicos. These are photos/prices from Amazon but Andronicos' original prices are about the same as Amazon's. So take 33% off what you see below (new prices) and that will give you the Andronicos' price:

More on the topic of cookware in a future post but for now, you Paly people, enjoy the sale. (Go today: quantity was limited. You may want to call before you go to make sure they have what you want.)
